Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University (KrNU) trains professionals in 30 bachelor specialties, 28 master curricula and 12 Philosophy Doctor (PhD) specialties. About five thousand students acquire education at full-time and correspondence departments. Their education is provided by about 300 lecturers, including, 54 Doctors of Science, Professors and 171 Philosophy Doctors, Associate Professors. Among them there are 13 academicians and seven correspondent members of the branch Academies of Sciences of Ukraine, 16 holders of honorary state titles, seven laureates of the State Award of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, 29 laureates of the President’s Award and scholarship holders of the scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists.

In recent years, by the number of prize-winning places in the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research work in the natural, engineering and human sciences, KrNU ranks third – the sixth position among all higher education institutions of Ukraine. They are also proud of the results of their students in the II round of the All Ukrainian Student Olympiad among the HEI of Ukraine, our institution ranks third – the fifth position among the classical universities.
